About me

With a Master’s in Cell and Molecular Biology and over 5 years of experience in biological research, scientific communication,
and program development, I bring a unique blend of academic expertise and technical proficiency to address health systems,
infectious diseases, and disaster response frameworks.
My demonstrated success in research writing, laboratory investigations, and stakeholder engagement positions me to deliver
impactful outcomes in areas including public health, SRHR, MHPSS, and disease surveillance and prevention.
I hold a Master’s in Cell and Molecular Biology from LUMS and have led multiple research projects focusing on infectious
diseases and genomic analysis. My senior year research on the Genomic Characterization of Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis
Strains reflects my ability to design systematic reviews, analyze drug resistance profiles, and propose molecular solutions for
combating communicable diseases. I further conducted a comparative analysis of COVID-19 spike protein sequences in
Pakistan and globally, applying computational biology techniques such as sequence alignment tools and phylogenetic
modeling to identify mutational hotspots critical for vaccine and therapeutic design.
Additional projects, such as Proteomic Profiling of Cancer Biomarkers and Antibiotic Resistance Studies in Wastewater Systems,
have developed my expertise in gel electrophoresis, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and bioinformatics tools. These
research efforts equipped me with the ability to translate complex datasets into policy recommendations and program
strategies—critical skills for advisory roles focused on non-communicable diseases and public health interventions.
Beyond academic research, I have extensive experience in program planning, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity
building. During my tenure as a Science Teacher at Almoiz Industries School, I led the development of STEM-focused curricula,
incorporating CRISPR-based modules, genetic engineering tools, and biochemical lab practices to prepare students for
scientific inquiry and research-oriented careers.
I also implemented student-centered learning techniques, hosted biology fairs, and conducted interactive workshops to foster
scientific literacy and encourage youth engagement in health awareness campaigns. My ability to manage program timelines,
logframes, and evaluation frameworks ensured measurable results and stakeholder alignment—skills that I am prepared to
bring to technical advisory and program implementation roles.
I have a demonstrated ability to address sexual and reproductive health and rights SRHR and mental health and psychosocial
support MHPSS through targeted interventions and data-driven advocacy. My systematic research on drug resistance in
tuberculosis provided insights into treatment gaps and health inequities, aligning with global health priorities. In addition, I have
led awareness programs focused on infectious disease prevention, nutrition, and community health, emphasizing mental
health resilience in disaster-affected populations.
My profile combines technical expertise in molecular biology and health research with proven capabilities in program
development, scientific communication, and disaster response frameworks requiring Health improvements. I am confident in
my ability to contribute as a technical advisor o r program manager, addressing infectious and non-communicable diseases,
SRHR, and MHPSS through data-driven interventions.
