About me

Hello, I’m Zia — a Cambridge International Urdu specialist with over 18 years of dedicated teaching experience. For nearly two decades, I have been guiding O Level and A Level students in Urdu language and literature Syllabi 3248, 3247, 9686 & 8686, helping them achieve conceptual clarity, analytical depth, and examination excellence. My teaching approach combines structured preparation, strong alignment with Cambridge assessment standards, and individualized attention to each student’s learning needs.

I believe language is far more than a subject — it is a powerful medium of thought, identity, and expression. In my classes, students learn to write with precision, analyze texts critically, and develop the confidence required to excel in high-stakes examinations. My sessions are disciplined, interactive, and focused on measurable academic improvement. Alongside my academic career, I am a published Urdu poet, literary critic, and translator, recognized in literary circles. My active engagement with contemporary Urdu literature enables me to bring authenticity and intellectual richness into my lessons. Students benefit not only from exam-focused strategies but also from exposure to language as it lives beyond the textbook.

My students’ results consistently reflect this commitment. In the most recent Cambridge O Level First Language Urdu examination, out of 27 candidates, 10 achieved A*, 16 secured A grades, and only one received a B — demonstrating sustained academic excellence.
